New South Wales residents, make your vaccination appointments if you haven’t already; Uber Eats will cut the bill for Australians living in the very first LGA hotspot to meet the 80% double vaccination target by $ 20.
The food delivery platform launched a campaign to ‘get vaxxed for snacks’, noting that dessert orders among Sydney residents had almost doubled between May and August.

“Eaters who live in the first Concern LGA to meet the 80% double vaxxing goal will be able to get up to $ 20 off an order (excluding fees) from their favorite dessert store through Uber Eats.”

How does this offer work?
Uber Eats said it was “keeping a close eye” on the number of vaccinations.
“Once the first affected LGA has reached that sweet spot of 80% double vaxx, we will activate the promo code the following Friday after the vaccination goal is reached. The offer will also be valid for the following weekend, ”Uber explained.
Step by step, here’s how it will work:
-
Open the Uber Eats app and find a participating store under “Desserts”
-
Choose your dessert and add it to your basket
-
Enter promotional code ‘VAXXED4SNACKS’ (but note that this will only work for affected LGA people)
-
Pay and wait for your dessert to arrive.
Residents of NSW with a sweet tooth should note that shipping and service charges are not included in the $ 20 offer.
